STATS ChipPac (S$0.405) Settles insurance claim
STATS ChipPAC has reached a US$26.7mil property damage insurance settlement with its insurers, as compensation for damage to plant and equipment from the 'ooding of its facility in Thailand. The business interruption insurance claim it submitted in March 2012 is still in progress, the company said.
