Property developer Oxley Holdings has appointed Accor to operate two new hotels (below) that will form part of the company’s landmark redevelopment of the former The Pines Country Club on Stevens Road.

The two hotels will be operated under the Novotel and Ibis brands, and will have a total of 782 rooms, a 500-seat ballroom, meeting facilities, food and beverage outlets, a fitness centre and a swimming pool. They are scheduled to open in 2016, and mark Oxley’s maiden foray into the hospitality sector. The new commercial-cum-hospitality development, which will sit on a 198,889 sq ft land parcel with a 103-year lease, has a total gross floor area (GFA) of 318,222 sq ft.
