Sunpower Group has secured a 253.5mil yuan (S$52.96mil) engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contract. Expected to be completed by 2015, the Xinjiang Kuishan petrochemical base is a large‐scale oil‐coal‐chemical‐power‐heat integrated project with a total construction value of 29.8bil yuan. The supply of flare systems is valued at 47.5mil yuan and is expected to be delivered by the end of 2014, while the supply of sulphur recovery systems is valued at 206mil yuan and is expected to be delivered by the end of 2015. All in, Sunpower expects that its latest EPC contract will have a positive impact on the group's FY2014 and FY2015 results.
