As a result of a series of mishaps in the neighbouring countries, 2014 turned out to be a volatile year for Singapore's tourism and hospitality sector. After assessing the positives and the challenges for the tourism market, we remain confident that 2015 will prove to be a more sanguine year for Singapore hotel players. Barring any unforeseen events, we remain upbeat on the hospitality sector as we believe that the series of positive impact will outweigh the foreseeable challenges. We continue to Overweight the sector, with CDL-HT and OUE-HT being our top picks.
