| MSCI Asia ex-Japan Index weekly chart |
Asia's equity market was strong in the past fortnight, with the MSCI Asia ex-Japan (MAxJ) up an impressive 6%. The index could soon test its major resistance trendline (555) and a break above this trendline and its recent high of 562 would be very bullish.
US S&P500 remains in its uptrend as its major support trendline is not yet broken. Malaysia's KLCI uptrend remains intact.
We also see signs of laggards like the property and plantation sectors trying to play catch-up with the market.
