Banks - Resilience Of Business Loans

Wither business asset quality as rate rises? Singapore banks have enjoyed a benign credit environment for a long time thanks to persistently low interest rates. But with the odds of the US Federal Reserve tapering its quantitative easing programme on the rise, interest rates may well be heading north.

The key question is whether a higher interest rate environment would tarnish the pristine business loan book (60% of total). In this report, we take a closer look at this issue.
