We hosted a post-results meeting for investors with the management of
CapitaLand. The key issue discussed was how it plans to improve ROE
through simplifying the business, deploying capital strategically and
having an optimal mix of operating and development assets.
Overall, we believe investors came
away from the meeting feeling slightly
more positive on the outlook:
execution will now be key. We
maintain our target price, still based
on a 15% discount to RNAV. Catalysts
include an earnings recovery in FY13
and corporate restructuring
initiatives. Outperform maintained.
