The record high end-Sep Malaysia palm oil stocks are a dampener on
CPO prices, but this has largely been priced-in. Oct stocks may rise
further unless swift action is taken by government to speed up exports.
We maintain our Trading Buy call on
regional planters. Our view is that
CPO prices will recover by year-end,
driven by the lower production
season and potential government
action to boost palm oil exports. Our
top picks are Astra Agro, Indo Agri
and Sime Darby.
