恭喜发财,万事如意 (Gong Hey Fat Choy, Wan Shi Ru Yi). During CNY, people ask me whether I go to casino, I tell them "My casino is Stock Market". Aside from money-making, it is a wonderful arena for sharpening your mind. The game begins when you enter a trade and ends when you decide to click the Sell button - and there is no casino in the world that gives you so much control!

This week we should begin to see volume picking up in the market. The CNY eve trading week was very thinly traded.

Many indicators will get out of sync due to these thinly traded markets during the CNY eve week.

We will have Singapore & Hong Kong Markets opening for trading on 23^rd Feb 2015 except Shanghai Market ( 25^th Feb 2015).

The weekly and daily impulse systems are Green. Weekly MACD histogram is in uptrend and daily MACD histogram start ticking up.

Weekly CADI is moving with the uptrend.

In summary:

The indicators are bullish and this doesn't mean we will go into market are turn into raging bull. There are bullish and bearish stocks in any market, and instead of calling the entire market uptrend, I will zoom into individual stocks.

Still, at this point the bulk of traffic is in one direction - and it's much easier to swim with the tide. I will go with the uptrend.

On 23^rd Feb (Mon), The Singapore government’s budget for FY2015 will be delivered in Parliament.

This year is SG50, there is a widespread anticipation of generous handouts for all citizens/SME and company. Let's hope things may improve in Budget 2015.
