The SPY has been getting incessantly choppier and volatile the last month and it pays to be more cautious on trades as the 50 day moving average is flat to slightly sloping down. Putting in trades of 25% – 50% of your usual trade size would be prudent here. There seems to be much more opportunity now due to the declining markets but with the 50 day MA showing signs of weakness, it should pay to be less aggressive in the market for now. We held a good SharesEdge Foundations Class on the 30th of September last month, and had very good reviews from the participants. If you are interested in the next class, it will be on the 10th of January 2015 (Saturday). You may register at the the program section of the website @ http://sharesedge.com/program.
