Business Background

First Real Estate Investment Trust (“First REIT”) is a real estate investment trust constituted by the Trust Deed entered into on 19 October 2006 between Bowsprit Capital Corporation Limited as the Manager and HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited as the Trustee. First REIT was listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited on 11 December 2006. First REIT is Singapore’s first healthcare real estate investment trust that aims to invest in a diversified portfolio of income-producing real estate and / or real estate-related assets in Asia that are primarily used for healthcare and / or healthcare-related purposes.

foresight sell down for this week seems heavy..Monday begin at 1.17..now 1.05. Drop a whopping 10%..something is brewing. avoid for now until price stable

foresight currency weakness will last for awhile before it will be stable. May impact DPU

Tipster their rental incomes are in SGD, so any currency movement will not impact FIRST reit... buy!

Peter Graham Lancashire Tipster, you are right the rental incomes are in sgd., but the Net Asset Value not!
Also when rentals are up for renewal, negotiations to increase them in Sgd., may be tough against the background of tenants whose income is in IDR, and competitors
Who pay their rents in IDR. Stii remain vested though! PGL

InvestIcon First Reit Indonesia assets Rupiah rental peg to S$. No currency risk. More worry on whether Lippo Karawachi can smoothly raise fund thru right issue to make sure company have positive cash flow. This will ensure rental payment by LK will not default

Felix Research says it has a strong resistance at 1.21 and UBS AG acquired 540,200 shares of AEM Holdings for a consideration of S$674,685 on March 22. This saw UBS AG increase its total interest in AEM Holdings, which includes deemed interests.
