Oncology firm TalkMed files for Catalist IPO
Medical oncology and haematology company TalkMed Group plans to list on Catalist to raise capital for expansion, according to a preliminary prospectus. TalkMed will issue new shares, but the number of shares to be offered, their pricing and the timing of the initial public offering have yet to be set. Hong Leong Finance Limited is the sponsor while UOB KayHian is the placement agent for the planned listing. TalkMed provides medical oncology services to patients through the Parkway Cancer Centre, a sole proprietorship owned by Parkway Hospitals Singapore (PHS), with Singapore Cancer Centre employees out of seven clinics in Gleneagles Hospital Singapore, Mount Elizabeth Hospital Singapore, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre and Mouth Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre Singapore (which are hospitals operated by PHS).
